The Channel

SpongeDubs i'ts (probably was thx to YT) a YouTube channel that made SpongeBob SquarePants sing popular songs by splicing together real audio clips from the show no AI, no voice synthesis, just meticulous editing (sentence mix :D). The results were surprisingly convincing and often hilarious.

The channel ran from 2018 to 2026, covering artists like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Michael Jackson, Toto, and many others.

The archive

This archive preserves all 55 videos from the SpongeDubs channel in their original quality, including full metadata and original descriptions.

The collection was assembled in April 2026 following multiple copyright strikes that placed the original channel at risk of termination. As removal became increasingly likely, this mirror was created to ensure long-term access and continuity.

The archive is presented as a static record of the channel at the time of preservation. No alterations have been made to the original content.

Personal note

I’ve followed SpongeDubs for years, and I’ve also been a longtime SpongeBob fan. There’s something uniquely fun about hearing familiar characters reinterpreting popular songs through pure editing and creativity.

When the channel started facing copyright issues, it felt like something that had been part of internet culture for a while could suddenly disappear. This archive exists because I genuinely enjoyed these videos and didn’t want them to be lost.
